Christmas Witnessing -- God's Christmas Gifts

Dear

Christmas is the time we celebrate the Jesus’ birth. It can be one of the most beautiful times of the year. Why? Christmas reminds us of God’s love and His priceless gifts.

Do you realize how much God loves you? -- "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved." John 3:16 - 17 Jesus was the first Christmas gift, God’s gift to us.

Do you know that Jesus loves you and wants to be your Savior? He even wants to live inside of your heart. -- Jesus said, "Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me." Revelation 3:20 Jesus’ personal atttention is one of His gifts to us.

All of us need a savior to save us from our sins and their consequences. -- "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 3:23; 6:23 Eternal life is one of God’s gifts to us.

You can confess your sins, repent, and ask God to forgive you. -- "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." 1 John 1:9 Forgiveness is an often needed gift that God willingly offers us.

You can receive Jesus as your Lord and become a child of God. -- "But as many as received Him (Jesus), to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name." John 1:12 Adoption by God is another wonderful gift made possible because of Christmas.

You can receive Jesus by believing in Him and confessing that you want Him to be your Lord. -- " . . . that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." Romans 10:9 -10 Salvation is an awesome gift.

When we confess Jesus, He actually comes and lives inside of us. -- "By this we know that we abide in Him, and He in us because He has given us of His Spirit. Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God." 1 John 4:13,15 "Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ (Messiah) is born of God and everyone who loves Him who begot also loves Him who is begotten of Him." 1 John 5:1 Jesus’s loving companionship is His daily gift to us.

Would you like to receive Jesus as Lord of your life? -- You may pray to Him right now. Here is a suggested prayer. "Jesus, I believe You died on the cross and You rose from the dead. I know I am a sinner. Forgive me for all my sins and cleanse me from all unrighteousness. I repent from trying to live my life my way and ask you to be my Lord. Make me the kind of person You want me to be. Right now, Lord Jesus, I open the door to my heart and I receive You as my personal Lord and Savior. AMEN!"

Giving your life to Jesus is your Christmas gift to Him. I pray this will be the most blessed Christmas of your life. Enjoy getting to know God and enjoy His many benefits and gifts to you. Merry Christmas!

With love
